History: the Shining Moon Museum

Somewhere from the middle of America, a group of people traveled to settle in California with dreams of being part of the gold rush and getting rich. It was an ambition of many and sadly only some would achieve such a goal. However life has interesting ways of leading people to do other things that may require more work and time yet produce fascinating results. This mansion is one of those instances. When it became obvious gold would not fall into their hands so easily, they built this farmhouse. It was spacious and simple with a kitchen and rooms on the first floor and a loft(mainly for storage) for the second floor. Overtime two more floors were added and many more rooms on each floor along with a second kitchen for the second floor. This mansion is set on a hill overlooking the city that was once a small town. The rooms on the first floor that were built first is where the city's museum is with all of the preserved trinkets, artifacts and furniture. Here tours are given and refreshments served from the old, remodeled kitchen.
